Add y axis parameter for individual waves

This allows individual waves to be placed at different locations on the yAxis, rather than all rendered at the same location on the yAxis.

@sarahquigley any chance this is going to be merged in soon? I'd love to use this feature. Otherwise I'm wondering if you have a private repo I could pull from!
