Event Reminders - The plugin page appears in the course although the plugin is disabled

Moodle version: 4.3.3 Plugin version: 2.7.2 (2024040200)

Hi, It seems that even if the local_reminders_enable ("Enabled") setting is unchecked, hence the plugin should be disabled, the "Reminders" page is still available in the the course, with all options for reminders at the course level, available. It seems to me like a bug, because even if the plugin is disabled at the point, the teacher won't know it until he will discover at some point that the students don't get the reminders via e-mail.

Could someone explain if this is intentional, or maybe a bug that would be fixed at some point?
