Planning for the next release - collaborators required

Open isteven opened this issue 10 years ago • 1 comments

Hi all,

First, I would like to thank those who have been using this directive so far. Thanks for the support, critiques & feedbacks, as well as PRs. I am very happy that this directive can be useful for those who, for some reasons, decided not to use UI frameworks (because those UI frameworks usually provide similar alternative).

Second, I guess it's time to start working on the next release of this directive. Nagging bugs are piling up, feature requests growing, and new JS/UI frameworks are showing up everywhere.

I've been working mainly alone so far, but this time, it will be different. I realize that I can no longer cope with the demands alone. My hands are quite full, and keeping things up to date become more and more difficult.

So I'm now looking for collaborators -just a small team, perhaps up to 3 (three) team members at most- to work with me on this directive. The requirements are more or less:

  • Experienced in Javascript & AngularJs, of course. Experience in other JS frameworks is a bonus.
  • Experienced in scallable development.
  • Experienced in Git project management (Don't follow me. I'm lost too.)
  • Open minded & willing to cooperate for the benefit of the users.
  • Good command of English (duh).

This is not a full-time commitment or such, so you are free to pull out anytime you want.

If you are interested, feel free to email me at [email protected]. Introduce yourself, tell me more about your experience, open source projects, why you are interested, etc. I don't have a specific timeline for this, but I will announce when I've the team is ready.

A very short and crude summary of things that need to be done / improved:

  • Bugs fixing
  • Performance & stability
  • Integrating new features
  • Perhaps this is too much, but I would love to have this directive available in other JS frameworks. For pure AngularJs UI frameworks, I assume we can use the code (or most of them), and just play with the styling. For other frameworks.. we shall see.
