how to resolve overlaps?

Hello, Thanks again for making this useful program.
I have successfully used the functions of Racon, but I have not been able to find a way to resolve overlaps. When encountering overlap regions, Racon inserts a gap between them. Maybe Racon can't actually output a fasta with the overlaps resolved, but I wanted to check with you before I gave up on this.
Any advice will be appreciated.
