fix: tab key triggers option selection

Tabbing out of the field currently clears the input. It would be better for it to choose the highest option.

Hi, @dougblackjr thanks for your contribution. Nice catch. But I’d like to request a few change, I don’t what to lose the on blur event so please wrap it on a function that will select the active option and call the on blur function
