Highlight google search results

I've noticed that this extension also removes highlight on google search results. Is it possible to change highlights to bold or italic font with color? Otherwise you will need to ctrl+f every time to achieve the same purpose. Not quite famalir with css, but please let me know if there's anything I can help, thanks!
