iSH randomly hang when double clicking text using external pointing device (Magic Keyboard trackpad)

Context

Hello, I really enjoy coding with my iPad and iSH is my workhorse for running GDB for debugging my C codes. Really love it! But, I want to log an issue regarding the fact that iSH randomly hangs when I try to select some text by double clicking on it in the terminal. I’m using the trackpad of my Magic Keyboard.

Specifications

• iSH Version: 1.3.2
• Device model: iPad Air 4
• iPadOS version: 18.5 (22F76)

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Open a clean instance of iSH app
2. Write some texts on the command prompt
3. Try to select the text previously written by clicking many times on it.

Observed behavior:

1. The terminal hangs by showing the hollow carret. It does not accept any textual input anymore.

2. I also noticed that while hanging, the app is still accepting keys combination though, such as Ctrl+C or Ctrl+D:

This issue hasn't been fixed for years; I wonder if it's a problem with the iPadOS system itself. See: https://github.com/ish-app/ish/issues/731 If this issue is resolved, the iPad + iSH app would be a very handy and simple productivity tool.
