Feature request: quick action buttons on UI

Could you add buttons on the UI that would allow a user to quickly execute user defined commands? There would be a file where a user defines the button name and the command that will be executed when that button is pressed.

I use the same command with arguments many times. I would just like to click a button instead of typing or copy/paste.
