Commands do nothing

I'm on iPhone, iPhone SE (3rd) if that matters, and no commands do anything, ls/dir/whoami

I guess that everything works but the directory is empty. To test, try ls / or apk update

the "L" is lowercase in the app. and still nothing works still .

I suppose your directory is still empty. Did you try "ls /"? or, "apk list". It seems strange that whoami works and others - no. I'd suggest try exploring commands for Alpine, also try "apk add neofetch" and after command finishes it's job, type "neofetch"
