Text boxes react strangely to some keyboard inputs

The text boxes for entering prompts in the plugin panel have strange behavior with a couple of keyboard inputs that I use often. They are: Ctrl+Backspace and End. The former inserts a special character rather than backspacing a whole word like it does in standard text entry boxes. The latter scrolls to the bottom of the plugin panel rather than moving the text cursor to the end of the line.
