does Hive package store data on Android devices in Cache or Data?

Question Someone asked me this question, and I find it interesting. But I searched and I didn't find the answer. So I'm asking here.

does Hive store data on android as cache or as data? I know the difference between cache and data is that cache is intended for temporary data such as images and posts (in social media platform) while data is for permanent data such as player progress, app settings and so on.

and Hive can store actually the two type of data...

Hive stores data in forms of boxes which are stored in the users app directory, I am new to flutter and hive so check this in the docs => https://docs.hivedb.dev/#/more/limitations , but I cannot find the Hive box file in the file explorer though
