Staging branch

Hey @TheOneWithTheBraid, is the master branch in stable state? I want to publish some latest changes to pub.dev but not sure about the state of the branch. Also maybe going forward we can move into 2 stage branching, so any work in progress or preview changes will be pushed into staging branch and when they become we would merge it into master, so we can keep master as stable as possible.
