Vulcan AntiCheats Conflict

Open ryzyoz opened this issue 3 months ago • 2 comments

Mod Info (fill out the following information)

  • Mod name: Vulcan
  • Mod version: The latest version

Describe the problem When using Controlify on servers running the Vulcan anticheat plugin, the aim movement is incorrectly flagged as aim assist. This causes the player to be kicked for "unfair advantage" in PvP or after hitting other mobs, even when using the controller legitimately. The issue does not occur immediately on login but typically after combat begins or killing mobs.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install and enable Controlify in your Minecraft mods folder.
  2. Connect a gamepad (Xbox, DualShock, etc.) and verify it works in menus and single-player worlds.
  3. Join a server running the Vulcan Anticheat plugin.
  4. Engage in PvP using the gamepad. 5.After a short time, get kicked with a message like "unfair advantage". Expected behavior Gamepad input should be recognized as a legitimate control method. I expect to play on any server, including those using Vulcan, without being falsely flagged or kicked for using a controller.

Minecraft Info (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [Windows 11]
  • Minecraft Version: [1.21]
  • Controlify Version: [2.4.2]

Additional context The issue only occurs on servers using the Vulcan anticheat plugin. Vulcan seems to misinterpret analog stick movement as external aim assistance during combat. All other mods were disabled during testing to confirm that this is a direct incompatibility between Controlify and Vulcan. The videos provided are from one specific server, but this issue has also occurred on other servers that use Vulcan, such as balacobaco.net and jogar.tfgames.com.br, indicating that the problem is not server-specific but related to how Vulcan handles controller input across multiple environments.

Is that even when you've added the server to the keyboard-like movement list?

For some reason, when I enable the keyboard-like movement option, I just keeps walking nonstop, so I'm not sure if this would help since it's related to aiming
