[Bug] Steam Deck input delay + Rumble REALLY weak even at 200% (max)
Current Behaviour
for some reason when using my steam deck controller. I get this weird input delay for all buttons + joysticks. Not sure if its a decky thing as I have that installed.
I used an 8BitDo Pro 2 in switch/xbox mode to double check if I was going insane but both modes worked fine with usb AND bluetooth.
also side note: Rumble is extremely low on Steam Deck. I have it set to the max and it barely shakes
Expected Behaviour
No input delay when using steam deck controller
and rumble is at an average amount of rumblyness.

Just to make sure...
- [x] I have made sure I am using the latest version of Controlify for the latest version of Minecraft.
- [x] I have made sure there are no other issues describing the same problem on the issue tracker.
Might be better as two individual bug reports since it seems to be mentioning two issues

only reason why I included the 2-in-1 post is because the Rumble isnt that huge of an issue compared to the input lag. And it might be connected to the same bug. As the rumble has a small delay as well now that I think about it.
Steam Deck rumble really is just that bad. It lacks proper rumble motors. Uses the touchpad haptics I think.

really? Cus I have used other apps like dolphin that use sdl2 and the rumble works fine. I think it uses a similar method to the switch 1 joy-cons. Or there is two different motors
I can confirm this is a problem on Steam Deck. First time trying to get back into Minecraft in a few years, I tried out this new Prism launcher I've heard so much about. There was an update in the last couple of days, issue was present in version 2.3.0, as well as the new 2.4.1.
I have barely even 10 minutes in-game, because the game is completely unplayable, but from my few minutes of testing, the controls seem to freeze in response to high CPU load, especially when generating chunks. I also tried Distant Horizons, and the immediate high CPU usage caused by DH's first trying to generate LODs was really messing with the controls too.
Edit: After posting this, I tried setting DH's multithreading to level 5 ("I Paid For The Whole CPU"), and the controls immediately went squirrelly. I paused the game to type this on a desktop PC, and I've noticed that the controller input has now completely stopped responding; I can't even navigate the pause menu to get back into the mod settings page (or any page). Yes, this was still happening before I had Distant Horizons installed (chunk generation will cause this too).

wait is this a prism launcher thing or a controlify thing then? I'm confused
Found a fix for the input issues that seems to work for multiple people! Disable "enhanced Steam Deck drivers" under global settings.
