R2 / L2 (attack / use) buttons getting stuck
Describe the bug For some reason, the attack / use buttons get stuck for me (I'm using DualShock 4)
My controller is confirmed to have no hardware issues!
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Install Controlify
- Join a world
- Try to look around
- In my case, the use key get's stuck
- Press attack key
- Pause then unpause
- Great! Now both keys are stuck
Expected behavior Whenever I hold down attack / use, the player should start breaking / placing blocks, and when I let it go, the player should stop breaking / placing blocks.

Minecraft Info (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 11
- Minecraft Version: 1.19.4
- Mod Version: 1.1.0+1.19.4
- Controller: DualShock 4
Additional context Rejoining the world only fixes the attack key
Are you using any additional software for your dualshock controller?
I have connected it through Steam. As far as I'm aware, I'm not using any additional software
Does this happen if you do not have steam open? Even in the background.
I just made a very strange observation: Controlify either conflicts with other mods or it's a software problem. Here's what I did:
I created a clean Minecraft installation, having only QSL, QKL, YACL, Controlify and Sodium. The bug didn't occur. Also I didn't mention it, but the first time I installed the mod, I had two controllers listed in the Controlify options: DualShock 4 and PlayStation 4 controller. One of them didn't work, the other one worked, but had that sticky key bug
Good afternoon, I have the same problem on version 1.7.0+1.20.2 release on Gulikit King Kong 2 pro ( https://gulikit.com/productinfo/737791.html ). The error occurs randomly and not always, once every few hours. Perhaps because I alternate between using a keyboard and mouse and a gamepad? I don’t have any stuck buttons, the bug only happens after the pause is removed and does not disappear until the Minecraft client is completely restarted. The gamepad is connected via bluetooth, it turns itself off during afk and I wake it up after returning to the game.
