I am using the Steam Deck on Windows 11 to simultaneously run a Minecraft server and I can't get it to register the controller is connected

You shouldn't ever use Windows on a Steam Deck. And you should run servers in general on Linux. I have set up a simple solution in around 15 minutes using only my Steam Deck. Watch here: https://youtu.be/FIiQIxZ8CVg
