[Bug] Game freezing when connecting/disconnecting controller

Current Behaviour

Game freezes for a couple of minutes when connecting/disconnecting controller

Expected Behaviour

Controller should connect within a few seconds

Reproduction Steps

1. Load into Minecraft
2. Connect or disconnect controller (via wired or bluetooth)
3. Game freezes

Additional Information

Did not use bluetooth for demonstration but issue also occurs with bluetooth.

• [X] I have made sure I am using the latest version of Controlify for the latest version of Minecraft.
• [X] I have made sure there are no other issues describing the same problem on the issue tracker.
