Scrolling Volume2 options' lists activates Windows many-key-presses warning

Normally, when four keys (or more) are pressed at the same time, Windows plays a beep sound. But when I opened Volume2 options and tried to scroll OSD or system tray skins, keyboard actions or languages, the mouse cursor starts hanging when I move the mouse, the many-key-presses beep sound is played if you scroll fast enough and Volume2 CPU usage increases. Scrolling through version history doesn't cause any problems, though. Any ideas?
