OSD Position in Volume2 App Bug (Probably) After Playing Games
Description: The On-Screen Display (OSD) periodically changes position outside the display space on Windows, regardless of the coordinates being predefined or manually set. Tested with three different OSD styles, confirming the issue is not style-dependent. The problem tends to occur after running games, even when the resolution in the games matches the Windows desktop resolution (Full HD). Notably, the OSD is not disabled during gameplay, as it is needed in-game.
Steps to Reproduce:
Set up the OSD in Volume2 with predefined or manual coordinates (e.g., corners).
Launch a game in Full HD resolution.
Exit the game and check the OSD position on the desktop.
Expected Behavior: The OSD should retain the position set in its configuration, both during gameplay and after exiting games.
Actual Behavior: The OSD shifts outside the display space, rendering it inaccessible.
Additional Information:
Issue persists across different OSD styles in Volume2.
Windows desktop resolution and game resolution are identical (Full HD).
The bug is disruptive, as OSD visibility is required during games.
Environment:
Volume2 Version: 1.1.9.468
Windows Version: Windows 10 LTSC 1809
Graphics Card/Driver Version: 1660Ti / Any version
I have the same issue. I am on indows 11 24H2 and no games installed.
I set the location of the OSD in the Options. The OSD changes place some ten pixels down, after a Windows restart or something. The Options now show the new location. Seems something changes the OSD location in the Options.
I usually keep my OSD in the middle (I don't play games), but it sometimes shifts to the bottom left and sometimes returns to where I set it. I believe it's a screen problem, as when I close my laptop's flap, the screen resolution changes (I set it to not sleep, but it does nothing). This is most likely a bug, and I don't see it as a problem in my PC's volume2.
