Volume no longer changes after RDP session

Open nab128 opened this issue 7 years ago • 3 comments

When I RDP into a machine I see Volume2 is now controlling "Remote Audio" correctly. But when I log back into the machine locally the mouse wheel brings up the OSD normally but the volume doesn't actually change. Restarting Volume2 fixes it.

Not sure if it happens every time but it happens regularly.

Windows 8.1. Volume2 1.1.5.361.

I have the same issue since the last version update (1.1.7.449). I run Win7, still :)

I can reproduce this, every time, so if you need some more info about it, please let me know.

This issue can be avoided by changing the Remote Audio Playback setting to "Do not play", but then of course you are not hearing the remote sounds at your local computer.

Hopefully you can take a look at this when you get the chance.

I connect onto my machine with the official RD Client from Microsoft in iOS. I use this setting since … always. It doesn’t solve my problem.
