Browser window scrolls when changing volume on left screen edge
Firefox 88.0, Chrome 90.0.4430.72, Windows 10 Pro 20H2, Volume² v1.1.7.434 beta (14.02.2021) (behavior occurs in previous stable versions as well)
Coincidence or not, This started happening recently, around the same time I upgraded to 20H2.
Although I also upgraded my browsers around the same time, perhaps the fact that both browsers are behaving the same points elsewhere fro the cause.
I was also having problems with my "Mile Wide Back" Firefox addon, which also utilizes the left screen edge territory to do it's work. I only mention that because when trying to solve the "Mile Wide Back" I experimented with the Volume² settings.
I thought I returned the Volume² settings to their previous customized state, but no matter How I alter the settings, I can't get the browser pages to stop scrolling when I change volume on the left edge, which never happened in the past.
I can't explain why, but today the browser stopped the scrolling behavior I described. Now it adjusts the volume without scrolling. I have two profiles in which this was occurring, which do not share all the same addons, but today, the problem disappeared from both
The following is just speculation, but I just upgraded to Firefox 88.01. Numerous addons have been updated. I also recently changed the "Sensitive Regions Width" to 12 pixels. Perhaps it is a result of one or comkbination of these things.
Firefox 89, Chrome 91.0.4472.101
The scrolling behavior I originally described is happening again. Changing the "Sensitive Regions Width" to 12 pixels does not help.
This was tested on a fresh profile. No addons, no settings changes, no about:config tweaks.
Is there nobody else that is experiencing this?
Firefox 94.0.2 It cannot be reproduced
