Mute On/Off by rotating a mouse wheel over taskbar Up/Down.

...and/or rotating a mouse wheel along selected screen edge (some edge mute on/off, other change volume). Volumemouse can do it. It's the only thing I miss here. It is very very fast way to mute sound off :) Thx.
