toxcore Merge new groupchat API

Many people have mentioned that there is a new group chat coming with many features such as user banning etc, though nobody seems to be clear on exactly when it is coming. So I am creating this issue in order to hopefully better track its progress. So when exactly is it going to be properly implemented? It would be good if updates on its progress could be posted here.

Nobody knows. Last I heard, some missing pieces for TCP functionality have to be implemented in toxcore. Perhaps @irungentoo can tell us about his progress.

If you'd like, you can open a pull request from jfreegman's branch, but I don't think it's even ready for a PR

Somehow I don't think that it was a good idea to close this issue. The question is not answered and the branch is not merged, so why close it? Lots of people (including me) are still waiting for new groupchats, so a little bit of clarification is required (perhaps there's something we can help with, who knows). The fact that it is possible to create a PR does not mean that the issue should be closed like that.
