Disable THM files - Yi 4K

I have a specific application where the THM files become a burden to deal with on the Yi 4K. Might there be a way to disable creation of thumbnail files? I recall this being true on the first gen Yi action camera. Here would require a different method though. There may be a setting in the system_pref.download dump that I am overlooking. Those variable names are not always so straightforward.
