Make the pencil tool look less crappy while drawing

We need to backtrack and erase the last line segment that was drawn. Draw at a low framerate, you'll see it.

It only makes sense if you e.preventDefault(), and that would break scrolling the page, which most people don't want. We can provide a code sample instead.

Protocols inherit from `AnyObject` instead of class. Minimum deployment targets are updated to 12.0. These changes fix all Xcode warnings.
