DPVS successful with 82599 BUT issues error with XL710 40 Gig NIC - KNI: Update maddr of dpdk0 Failed !
Dear developers,
I am able to successfully build DPVS with 82599.
BUT issues error with XL710 40 Gig NIC.
This is the build error that DPVS issues with XL710 - KNI: Update maddr of dpdk0 Failed !
Can I please request as where the patches for XL710 and instructions of XL710 and flow director patch to work with DPVS - Kindly let me know the URL for XL710 and DPVS patch please.

Dear ywc, Thank you for referring DPDK Driver of XL710 supporting multicast NOW. The instructions refer to use dpdk 17.11.2 for the two patches that has to be applied. So, for the two patches to work, we have to use 17.11.2 only. Correct ywc? How to take benefit of recent XL710 driver that supports multicast now? We are considering to upgrade the DPDK version to "DPDK 17.11.4 (LTS) ". New patches would be released then.

Any news about this? I encounter the same problem on I40E: "KNI: Update maddr of dpdk0 Failed !"

Is not KNI different PMD from I40E PMD. Does not this mean your port 0 dpdk0 is KNI and not I40E? Can you please recheck?
