add graph for contributors pages

Would be rad to have the graph over some period of time like we have for contributions.

@autonome are you thinking total contributors up to a date or unique contributors on each date?

IIRC is "unique # on date" in the other graph. That's useful for eyeballing bumps and regressions, etc.
