HRESULT failed

Expected behavior

I just installed and started using DeepFaceLab_DirectX12_build_05_04_2022 yesterday and things went smoothly until about 8 hours into the training. I was expecting the behavior to continue to run smoothly and train over the night.

Actual behavior

I got this message and I have no idea what it means or how to solve it:

2022-09-14 00:41:00.440554: F tensorflow/core/common_runtime/dml/dml_upload_heap.cc:56] HRESULT failed with 0x887a0005: chunk->resource->Map(0, nullptr, &upload_heap_data)

Press any key to continue . . .

Steps to reproduce

Nothing happens when I press a key to continue. I found a thread here where a guy wrote that it can be fixed by doing a tensorflow update (in the project). He wrote: Simply go to the folder “DeepFake\ _internal\python-3.6.8”, open the terminal, and enter “python -m pip install tensorflow”. I assume that the “terminal” means to open the python application and type in “python -m pip install tensorflow” and press enter. I tried doing this but nothing happens or I am doing something wrong.

I have the same exact problem, but mine would crash after around 3000 iterations. When I try to start it again, it shows that same error. Restarting my PC seems to fix the issue temporarily (until it crashes again after 3000 iterations ._. ). I'm using AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB VRAM) GPU, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and 8GB RAM.

Hey, It seems I have the same GPU just as yours and currently facing the same issue. Is there any fix that you may have found?

Did you ever find the answer? If so, would you mind sharing it and closing this issue?

i have the same error pop up and i happen to be using same GPU specs as you.... is this error singled to our GPU specs or something?
