I have the same error. I tried leaving the config.txt alone, and I also tried it by entering my login email address with password that I use to login into https://bit.tube/

The farthest I seem to get is that if I run the miner (cuda 8 for x64) then click on start mining at the website (in Chrome), I will get the screen that shows CPU cores (2/8), GPU Core (unchecked), My Wallet address, and options to click on Hashrate, results and connection (none of the 3 show any values). The page also shows a reddish button called 'STOP MINING'.
