The "block this site" message will disappear.
I'm using uBlacklist on Firefox, but the "block this site" message disappears. What's the difference between the sites that are displayed? Is it a problem with the add-on itself? I checked for updates and found nothing unusual, and there are no problems with restarting or updating Firefox itself. The same thing is happening with other browsers, "Microsoft Edge" and "Google Chrome." What kind of measures or responses can I take?
I don't know if this is the place to post this - I'm not computer savvy and i'm really tired of there not being any real way of contacting help or getting direct assistance (and being forced to ask people who give incredibly complicated answers).
I'm using uBlacklist on Chrome. Overall it's been fine, but recently several blocked sites - including facebook, tiktok, and instagram - are popping up in my searches. I can't get rid of facebook at all. There's no option to block it, and regardless if i click Hide or Show, it's always there. I don't know if this is a case of zuckerberg ingratiating himself into everything, but I don't want his sites appearing in my searches.
I can't find any direct way of asking anybody for help, and nearly every question online involves non-Chrome browsers/OS's. Does anyone else out there know of a way of restoring the ability to block these sites? I don't want them, I don't use them, and I find their overlord loathsome. Any assistance would be welcome.
Popping in to report that I can't block instagram. Edit: Tiktok is also not blockable! Edit 2: Youtube is also not blockable!
Am using Firefox
Same issue here. It's definitely broken for many sites. Ironically, even for the link to this github extension:
@iorate
I concur with "[georgekolasa]". No blocked sites are blocked in Google and no sites can be blocked either. This is broken.
This issue should have been resolved in v9 with SERPINFO. Any remaining problems should be reported in discussions with detailed information.
