Maintainability going forward

Hi, we use this library actively at my company and really appreciate the value it provides. We’ve noticed that it hasn’t received much attention in a long time, and I’d love to help. Would you be open to adding me as a maintainer? Our goal is to keep the project healthy and useful for everyone. While we could fork it, we’d much prefer to contribute directly and help maintain the existing project so the community can continue benefiting from it.
