Connect NODC-PT catalogue as na ODIS node
Hello,
We have registered the metadata catalogue of the Portuguese National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC-PT) in ODISCat:
• ODISCat entry: https://catalogue.odis.org/view/3326 • GeoNetwork catalogue: https://data.nodc-portugal.pt/geonetwork/srv/por/catalog.search#/home • Geonetwork version: 4.4.6 • OceanExpert ID : https://oceanexpert.org/expert/57969
The catalogue appears to comply with the ODIS-Arch requirements:
• Sitemap: https://data.nodc-portugal.pt/geonetwork/srv/api/sitemap • Public HTML pages containing metadata with embedded JSON-LD • JSON-LD validation confirmed
However, it seems that the harvesting process has either not yet started or is not functioning correctly. Can you help us check if there are any errors in our information? Thank you in advance for your support.
Isabel
Thank you @IsabelFortes
@fils please include this in the next refresh of the new workflow. It should show up on the dashboard when complete.
there are carriage returns in the text e.g.
"name": "Licen\u00E7a de utiliza\u00E7\u00E3o \u2013 CC-BY-4.0 (https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/)"
}
that might be causing problems interpreting the JSON...
Hello, Thanks for the suggestion.
However, we have checked the metadata from the NODC-PT catalogue sitemap using the Schema Validator (https://validator.schema.org/), and no structural errors were detected during the validation. The JSON-LD structure of the dataset metadata appears to be compliant with Schema.org specifications. Should the issue you mentioned have appeared in this validation?
depends on the tools you're using
@IsabelFortes Thanks.. I have your information and I will be testing it here this week. I'll get you a report back on the process. Thanks for the heads up Steve. Yeah, this formatting issues can put a spanner in the works here and there. I'll see if it catching anything in ours.
