Related problems

If someone changes repository from latest to stable he cannot easily downgrade to the current stable release. Downgrade must be donw manually by spoecifying release explicitly

Description

Admin UI always shows current and available release. Available release is based on selected repository.

Image

If available relese is higher than installed release the available Release text is converted to a button allowing the update.

I would suggest that the available Release Text is ALWAYS converted to a button whenever the release differs. This would allow to perform a downgrade to the release offered by the repository by a single click. This is useful whenever one switches back from latest to stable and it is also a benefit if a release has been dropped and a prior release is (again) listed as stable/latest current release.

If a downgrade should show a dedicated warnign or different coulour should be discussed.

Additional context

If this feature would require js-controller suppoprt please spawn a issue there

This would be a great feature!

My problem: I'm on beta-Repo and updated the admin-Adapter to 7.4.22 a few days ago, which meanwhile has been revoked. Now V 7.4.22 ( with the known bugs ) is installed and I can't go back to prior version, even if I switch to stable-Repo.

Is there an easy way to go back to V 7.4.21?

Unfortunately restoring a backup is not an option for me, because I would loose some history-date
