Object Browser: Display formated Duration

Open Eistee82 opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

Number values with role value.time are displayed human readable formatted. I wish the same will be aviable for time durations (HH:mm:ss) with role value.duration

Example: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6312993/javascript-seconds-to-time-string-with-format-hhmmss

is value.duration already standardized somewhere? Could not find it in https://www.iobroker.net/#en/documentation/dev/stateroles.md

Would be great to have a clear definition first, especially about if it is specified in seconds or ms.

Hi As far as I know / checker only value.INTERVAL is defined. Maybe a value.DURATION would be fine.

@foxriver76 Eventually we cpould discuss / decide this at todays meeting ?

@foxriver76

According to todays meeting value.duration would be ok. BUT when entreing into PR I detected that a role which matches in my oppinion already exists:

time.span - time difference in ms (common.type=number), i.e. time since last update, duration of operation, time until next try, ...

Please review if still another role is required.

No time.span here: image

Will this be displayed formated? like HH:mm:ss
