modals are skipped when going to next task

context : when i merge a wikidata entity, and the merge involve new information, a modal pops up asking me if i want to add this piece of info to the wd entity or if i rather skip it.

at a task display, when i click on merge, this modal is skipped and next task is shown.

this is a great example of why modal sucks because it needs special care and handling to avoid those unwanted behavior (unlike humans, since its perfectly fine if they need special care to avoid an unwanted behavior).
