Desktop binaries for 0.22.0

Hello hello!

Wondering if exposing binaries for 0.22.0 is in plan, or if I can even build them myself from a specific tag

currently using the latest ios version and getting the following error

[ERROR] (2025-07-11 13:06:40.748) DBDriverSqlite3.cpp:434::connectDatabaseQuery() Opened database version (0.22.0) is more recent than rtabmap installed version (0.21.4). Please update rtabmap to new version!

I realise you can install latest via brew on Mac OS! Closing

Sorry about that, I'll check to release new 0.22 compatible binaries shortly. For others having the same issue, current workarounds are:

  • Mac: you can do brew install rtabmap --HEAD as mentioned by @antoinemacia (see also this, just updated with --HEAD option)
  • Windows: build rtabmap from source using vcpkg (vcpkg install rtabmap[tools] --clean-after-build)
  • Ubuntu: Version 0.22 is already released in ROS2: Humble/Jazzy/Kilted distros.

Reopening till Mac and Windows binaries are available.
