How to make ODAS start new ID's more frequently when tracking

For my purpose (tracking dog barks at some distance), I find that the directional information is not the best when it has been tracking a sound for some time or the dog bark comes up in an ID that is already being tracked (which makes the directional completely wrong). I want a new ID to start whenever a dog bark is heard but havent been able to alter the parameters to do this. Anyone have any parameters i could try and alter?
