Is it possible to add a SubReport as a column ?

I need to add a SubReport as a column to my report. However, DynamicJasper ends up making a whole new column header for the new subreport.

I wanted to concatenate the subReport to the actual report. Just Adding the columns from each report.

Is it possible to do that?

Ive been coding around with DynamicJasper but I cant find a way to make it work.

PS: Data Wrapping solution is not really applicable.

Edit: From what I can tell, each time I add a sub report, a band is created. I dont want that.
