I don't think it's about Intel CPU.
Please turn the toggle "Disable GitHub Copilot settings auto refresh status on appear" in the advanced settings in the host app.
Go to the Service tab and setup GitHub Copilot and see if it still crash. Try changing the Run Node with to different values.
