IDE console tabbing/backspacing doesn't work well

In the IDE console, if you try to tab and or backspace to delete characters, it doesn't work most of the time, for example, if you try to do tab after a command, you can't really backspace all the way to fix it, sometimes you end up with a bad command like catuffer.txt when what you really typed is cat buffer.txt. I am not sure if this ashell or IDE issue.

This will probably wait until the ashell refactoring is complete though; maybe it will be solved already.
