Spelling error report for Hyperscan (on fossies.org)
Encouraged by the fact that the apparently only commit in the last two years concerned four spelling errors in the CHANGELOG.md file, I would like to report some more, which are listed on this unlinked page of the FOSS server fossies.org:
https://fossies.org/linux/misc/hyperscan/codespell.html
and were identified using the tool codespell.
OK, you are complaining that the four errors mentioned are not listed there? Rightly so: Some files, such as "Changes"-related files and "test" like directories, are deliberately excluded in the “standard” analysis mode, but included in the alternative “full” analysis mode:
https://fossies.org/linux/misc/hyperscan/codespell.full.html
To easily monitor the success of potential fixes, also for the Hyperscan project (as previously done for several other popular FOSS projects) a kind of continuous code spelling was set up under the special restrictive folder "test", which is not integrated into the standard Fossies services and is not accessible to search engines:
https://fossies.org/linux/test/hyperscan-master.tar.gz/codespell.html respectively https://fossies.org/linux/test/hyperscan-master.tar.gz/codespell.full.html
This version independent URLs hopefully always redirect to the report for the latest "master" version identified by the short commit ID and a year-month-day string (YYMMDD) representing the according git pull date (usually = commit date). The refresh rate is at least currently every half hour, later less frequently, but at least once a week.
