It would help contributors if we made getting started an easy process.

The process is basically the git flow...

• Make an issue to propose your change
• Fork the repo
• Make your changes
  • Add tests
  • ensure all tests pass
• Make a pull request referencing your original proposal
• Get recognition (crate CONTRIBUTORS.md?)
