Allow disabling card previews in messages

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

(I'm using the "frustrated" wording here as it is suggested in the template.)

I'm frustrated when including GitHub links in my messages and Teams' attempt to insert a preview card into my message makes it harder for me to write the message.

I'm frustrated when the card content sometimes flashes in and out or just doesn't appear at all in the compose view of the message and then you only realise it is there when you've hit submit and then you have to go back into the edit view in which the card isn't visible and delete the empty lines roughly where the card is, hoping that that will delete it.

I'm frustrated when the card content does appear in the final message as it is huge and disrupts the flow of the conversation.

Describe the solution you'd like I would like to be able to completely disable the generation of preview cards in any message either on a per channel or per instance level.

Describe alternatives you've considered Alternatively, but not preferably, I would like the preview cards to appear in the edit view in a non-disruptive way that allows me to quickly and easily delete them.

This feature also causes me to become very frustrated and I would love to disable it. To assist with future searches for this issue, it looks like the team refers to this feature as "Unfurl GitHub links" .

My specific frustration is that if I remove the card I can no longer type in my message sometimes. Other times, portions of the URL or my original message become deleted which is totally bizarre and frustrating behavior. I promise, I'm not trying to be dramatic when I say this, but this feature causes enough pain for me that I have a better integration experience between teams and github without the plugin.

As a workaround, it seems like I can right-click the github icon located below the text input, and select uninstall. This does not appear to impact other functionality but worth it for me either way 🤷‍♂️. This only seems to fix it for chat messages though. Channel messages still have issues.

This option in the teams settings seems to help too
