Installation failing in projects with angular version < 14

I have installed this inside a project running on angular v12. Getting the following error while running / serving the app

@bruteF04C3 I started the library on Angular 2. It is getting tricky to test and support all versions of angular using my free time. Would you be kind to send a PR to handle versions, I would be happy to check it and merge it.
