High CPU% usage using Canvas

Summary:

High CPU% usage while using Studium.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Goto https://uppsala.instructure.com/courses/68571/modules

Expected behavior:

Low CPU usage

Actual behavior:

CPU usage above 100%, sometimes up to 400%

I have also experienced this issue on Chrome. Seems to not take place on firefox. This makes Canvas essentially unusable over a long period of time b/c it just get crashed by the browser due to its high resource usage.

Same issue here. Reproducible on both MacOS and Win10, on both Chrome and Firefox. Have been emailing L1 support who are virtually useless.
