ePortfolios load abnormally slow

Summary:

ePortfolios seem to take a substantial amount of time to load. In many cases, it takes longer than 10 seconds, and in this case, it took over 24 seconds. This only appears to happen when visiting a page, not when updating content or editing a page.

Steps to reproduce:

I'm not sure if this is 100% reproducible for other people, but here's how I can reproduce it.

1. Navigate to the ePortfolios section
2. Create an ePortfolio
3. Navigate to a page

Expected behavior:

The page loads within a few seconds at most, like the rest of the website.

Actual behavior:

The page can take a while to load, sometimes over 24 seconds.

Additional notes:

I consider myself to have an internet connection that's average/on the high end of average, but I can run a speedtest if it's helpful.
