Twitch-HLS-AdBlock

currently not working
Thanks for creating this. It worked at first, but now, in Firefox at least, when switching streams, the screen goes black and the loading icon appears. It seems to last as long as the ad would have, then the stream starts.
To debug it would be helpful to have information about the HLS m3u8 requests that Twitch makes. An easy way to provide these would be:
- Go to the twitch directory (no stream playing)
- Open the Developer Tools: Ctrl+Shift+I
- Select "Network"
- Put
m3u8into the "Filter URLs" top-left field - Open a stream
- If the stream goes black wait until the stream starts
- Now click top-right on "HAR" and select "Save All as HAR"
- Attach the saved file here as comment
I see no "HAR" option..
I'm using chrome though.. not sure if this extension works for that.. or if it's chromium only.
@SaiyanOfDarkness The steps are for OP since he mentioned using Firefox. For Chromium the steps are:
- Go to the twitch directory (no stream playing)
- Open the Developer Tools: Ctrl+Shift+I
- Select "Network"
- Put m3u8 into the "Filter" top-left field
- Open a stream
- If the stream goes black wait until the stream starts
- Now right-click on any request shown in the network table and select "Save all as HAR with content"
- Attach the saved file here as comment
Saving HAR produces a 0kb file with nothing inside of it.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
That's odd, sounds like a browser bug. Maybe upgrade your version (if outdated) or try Chrome?
Yep. Simply just not working in Firefox. Black screen when loading a stream but said stream never comes up.
Stopped working for me about 3-5 days ago on Firefox @instance01
