Changing default reply sorting to "Likes" breaks the ordering of threads
Pretty self-explanatory. I think this happens specifically when you're visiting a reply in a thread, not the original post. I'm not sure if the posts are being shuffled around or hidden altogether, but it's definitely not normal.
When you change the default sorting, we just modify the request that gets sent, we don't touch how threading works - according ot this user who noticed the same thing, it also happens if you manually change the sorting to Likes - is this your experience too?

Not OP, but wanted to bump this as the problem appears to have resurfaced. I can confirm that it is directly related to sorting by likes, not by Control Panel for Twitter. Disabling the extension and manually sorting by likes in X's interface causes the exact same issue with thread chronology.
Seems safe to close this one (though annoying it's not your extension's fault).
Thanks for confirming
