How to set WIFI ssid/pass without using HomeMate app?

Am I correct that in order to use this bridge you must initially set the WIFI credentials using the official app? If so, have you looked into the packet capture of the app when sending WIFI credentials to the device, and whether or not we can roll this into your bridge so that we've removed reliance entirely from Orvibo?

I set up one of my switches just now and did a packet capture. I suppose a starting point would be to see if the packets are encrypted with the same key as the "configured" device uses etc. But I don't want to waste time if you've already explored this so I'll wait to hear from you.
