Why do I have 5 addresses under 1 stake? Cardanolands tells me to switch to Eternl

Hi, I've never had any problems with NAMI wallet until last week, when I noticed that Cardanolands was not showing my Hexo balance. When I reached out to their team on discord, this was their response: "Sorry for my late reply. We had conversation with our dev team and did many tests regarding Nami wallet. That's why you don't see ADA and HEXO amount on our platform, because when you connect your wallet, you connect only 1 address and all assets must be there. Also the problem is that you can't select which exact address you want to connect.

So the best and the easiest solution will be to restore your wallet in Eternl and then connect with this wallet. Eternl perfectly works with all addresses under 1 stake and it allows to read all data."

Which leaves me with the following questions: Why would I have 4 other addresses besides my main address that all have less than 2 ADA attributed to them? Any idea how they were generated or if I can get rid of them and continue using NAMI as I did before? It seems ludicrous that an answer to fix something that worked perfectly fine every time until last week, is to set up a new wallet... that is the last thing I need!
